NM from Northern VA, 2012 VA Closed Co-Champion, senior manager here on ICC.

When our server crashed we should have all been logged off. But 40 of us survived and were stranded on this beautiful but mysterious ICC.

So far we've been able to survive on bishop sacs and knight forks, but we all still hold out hope we'll be rescued soon.

As I explore this exotic ICC and its pools, I've seen some strange things. Sometimes I see what looks like opponents from my past wandering around. Sometimes I can swear I read whispers. But what are they saying?

Some of us found a hidden main console buried underneath the ICC. When we got inside, there was a man inside who had to type in a code 1 0 3 0 5 0 every 18 minutes. He said he was saving the internet.

Well that man left and now it is up to me to enter the code into the main console. Is it my destiny to enter the code to save the internet? Or is it some kind of cruel joke and I'm wasting my time?

Note 7 and still no rescue. There is some sort of black background floating around the windows here, and sadly some of my friends have been overtaken by it. All that could be read were their shouts

It's become evident we are not alone on this ICC. Our rating points have been stolen, and any time one of us gives birth to a new handle, it dies in 7 days. Today I decided not to enter the code. Big mistake.

The main console went crazy with strange notation, and I was infused with some kind of tactical energy. And now I can see the future. I saw a vision of admins coming to rescue us. But they're not here to rescue us. They're here to start a war. A chess war. One I know I've already...
